Physical Therapy with Rebecca Nash, DPT

About Rebecca

Rebecca received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, California, in 2007. She was honored to work for the Veterans Affairs for 2 years, assisting veterans young and old with a wide array of complicated problems.

Rebecca interned under Shannon Harris, MPT, OCS, for 2 years in Beverly Hills, CA, where she developed and specialized in an innovative and powerful brand of Therapeutic Body Work.

Her Technique

Rebecca's work is a form of manual therapy that includes deep tissue massage and manipulation, myofascial release and joint mobilization. The work removes accumulated restrictions, resolves stiffness and corrects asymmetries and malalignments that interfere with fluid motion.

Rebecca also has advanced training in Integrative Manual Therapy, a more gentle form of manual therapy that is appropriate for all clients, including those with chronic pain, CRPS and fibromyalgia.

Finding New Relief

Clients often find their way to Rebecca after other forms of treatment fall short and provide only temporary relief. Her multi-disciplinary techniques target the sources of the problem, not the symptoms. The results are long-lasting and often permanent.

The first session includes a full-body evaluation of soft tissue, joint mobility and postural alignment. Bodywork is then tailored to meet each client's specific needs. Rebecca will also make recommendations for appropriate stretches and exercises to continued freedom of movement and maximum mobility. Sessions typically last an hour.
